In the upcoming Primera División Argentina game between AA Estudiantes and Racing Club, scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the AA Estudiantes vs. Racing Club match originally scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective predictions of informed traders, can sometimes provide more accurate probabilities, especially when there's strong disagreement with public perception. However, sportsbook odds reflect a broader range of bettors, including casual fans, while this market tends to attract more sophisticated participants. It's useful to compare both to form a well-rounded view of potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores in the Estudiantes vs. Racing Club match. The price of each share reflects the market's assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time estimate of the likelihood of each possible result. The market efficiently aggregates information from a diverse group of participants, leading to potentially more accurate predictions than static odds.
This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Estudiantes vs. Racing Club match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing sporting body. The market will determine which exact score was the final result of the game. Traders who correctly predicted the final score will be paid out according to their share ownership at the time of resolution. It's important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Estudiantes or Racing Club would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the coaches, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact predictions. Unexpected announcements related to the match schedule or venue could also move the market. Monitoring sports news and analysis focused on both teams will be crucial for understanding potential catalysts for price movement in this market.
