Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of an event. It's common to see differences emerge, especially as new information becomes available or as public sentiment shifts. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market's prices are driven by the wisdom of the crowd, potentially leading to more accurate predictions.
