Description

This market assesses the performance of three golfers competing in a single round of a professional tournament. It focuses on identifying which player will emerge with the best score relative to their competitors in that specific round. The outcome depends solely on the results of the first round, not the entire event.

Kalshi

The event features three separate markets, each centered on one golfer’s potential to win the three-ball matchup during the first round of the tournament. A market resolves to 'Yes' only if the specified golfer finishes with a lower total score than both of their competitors at the conclusion of the round. If all three participants finish with identical scores, the 'Yes' payout is divided equally among all tied participants, calculated as $1 divided by the number of tied golfers, rounded down to the nearest cent, while the 'No' payout is the remainder of the dollar. Should any golfer withdraw before the round begins, all markets resolve at fair market value. These rules apply independently to each market, with no cross-market dependencies.
