PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution criteria for determining the second-half winner, including tie-breaking and cancellation procedures.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (Bundesliga), with tiered fallback to Flashscore, Sofascore, and credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • If the match is postponed, the market remains open until the match is completed.
  • If the match is canceled entirely, the market resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Goals in Second Half: If both teams score zero goals in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • Data Source Discrepancy: In the unlikely event of conflicting data between official sources and fallbacks, the official source prevails. If the official source is unavailable within 24 hours, the market resolves based on the fallback sources in the specified order.
Timing: Resolution occurs after the completion of the second half (including stoppage time) and when official statistics are available, but no later than 24 hours after the event's conclusion. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the different incentives and information sources involved. Sportsbooks set odds to maximize profit, incorporating a margin for themselves, while prediction markets allow participants to directly express their beliefs. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, particularly when a large volume of traders participate. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, especially if they disagree significantly with the prediction market consensus. Comparing both can provide a more informed perspective on the potential outcome of this market.
