Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial odds to balance their risk, incorporating a margin for profit, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Predict will shift accordingly. This can sometimes lead to better value for informed bettors, though it’s not always the case.
