In the upcoming Bundesliga game between 1. FC Köln and FC Schalke 04, scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the 1. FC Köln vs. FC Schalke 04 match originally scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Predict, aims to represent the true probability of each outcome, though discrepancies can still occur due to differing information or risk assessments. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks in accuracy, especially when accounting for the vig, as traders are incentivized to find and exploit mispricings.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing ensures that the odds closely reflect the perceived probability of each exact score in the 1. FC Köln vs. Schalke 04 match.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the 1. FC Köln vs. Schalke 04 match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact scoreline at the end of regulation time will determine the winning outcome. The resolution process relies on publicly available and independently verifiable data to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in the market history once it is officially confirmed.
