This market will resolve according to the listed artist with the greatest number of monthly listeners according to Spotify on August 31, 2026, 12PM ET. The monthly listener count is listed on each artist's public Spotify profile. Only primary artist profiles will qualify; features or collaborations under another artist profile will not count towards the featured artist's total. In the event of an exact tie for the number of monthly listeners, this market will resolve in favor of the listed artist whose name comes first in alphabetical order. If Spotify is down at the listed time on the listed date, this market will resolve based on the most recent available data. The resolution source for this market will be Spotify. This market and these products have not been endorsed by Spotify. Any references to Spotify, Spotify charts, streaming data, or any associated marks are descriptive only and do not indicate an endorsement of this product or any affiliation between Spotify and Polymarket. On Polymarket, this market currently reflects a strong bias toward Will Bruno Mars have the greatest number of monthly Spotify listeners this month?, priced at 98.6%. Analyst forecasts often emphasize streaming trends, label promotions, and recent album releases, which can align with or diverge from trader sentiment. When analyst reports highlight new data — such as a surprise chart-topping single or a major tour announcement — this market may shift quickly to incorporate those insights.
On Kalshi, traders price in different dynamics than on Polymarket, such as regional listener biases or liquidity conditions. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one venue may have deeper volume behind a particular artist due to user demographics, while the other could be more responsive to recent news cycles. These differences often produce a spread of 1.6 between the two platforms, especially as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Aug 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner is the artist with the highest number of monthly Spotify listeners worldwide at the close of August, as reported by Spotify’s official charts.
