This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

The "complete match" encompasses all regulation time, stoppage time, and any extra time periods that may be played. Prediction markets like these operate on peer-to-peer trading rather than fixed odds set by a sportsbook. Traders buy and sell shares based on their conviction, so prices shift continuously with new information and sentiment. Unlike traditional sportsbooks, which apply margins and limits, prediction markets often reflect sharper consensus because participants have direct financial exposure. However, sportsbook odds may move faster during live events and carry tighter spreads due to professional market-making. Both reflect probability estimates, but prediction markets tend to aggregate dispersed knowledge while sportsbooks optimize for profitability.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and risk appetites, which naturally creates price variation. Polymarket and Kalshi also operate under distinct regulatory frameworks and fee structures, affecting how traders price risk. Timing lags between platforms mean one may react faster to breaking news or team updates. Arbitrage opportunities emerge when spreads widen, but transaction costs and withdrawal delays often prevent instant convergence. Monitoring both venues helps you identify value and understand where the broader market leans on this outcome.
This market resolves around Jul 21, 2026, once the match concludes and the first goal is verified. The outcome is confirmed against credible public reporting of the event result. Until that point, prices will fluctuate based on team news, injury updates, and live match developments. Early trading often reflects pre-match analysis, while late movement typically signals last-minute shifts in sentiment or tactical adjustments. Resolution is binary—whichever team scores first determines the winner, with no ambiguity once the event is finalized.
Team news such as injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes can significantly shift odds, especially if key attacking or defensive players are unavailable. Recent form, head-to-head records, and home-field advantage also influence trader positioning. Weather conditions and pitch quality may affect play style and scoring likelihood. Media coverage and expert predictions can sway sentiment, particularly if respected analysts highlight tactical mismatches. As kickoff approaches, live odds typically tighten as uncertainty resolves. Monitoring team social media, official announcements, and pre-match press conferences helps you stay ahead of price moves.
