This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Passion Academy and LPH Gaming in the United21 Group A, initially scheduled for May 10 at 6:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Passion Academy" if Passion Academy win the match against LPH Gaming. This market will resolve to "LPH Gaming" if LPH Gaming win the match against Passion Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market aggregates thousands of individual forecasts into a single price, which can sometimes lead to sharper or more efficient odds than conventional betting venues, though both sources remain useful for comparison and identifying value.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome's price reflects the collective confidence of all active traders at any given moment. As new information emerges—team roster changes, recent performance, or injury reports—traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. The more capital flowing into a particular outcome, the higher its price climbs, and vice versa.
This market resolves around May 10, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will reflect which team wins the best-of-three series. Until that time, prices may fluctuate based on team news, odds shifts at sportsbooks, and trader sentiment. Early resolution is possible if one team withdraws or the event is officially cancelled.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent tournament results, and head-to-head performance data. Sportsbook line movements often precede prediction market shifts, so monitoring external betting venues can provide early signals. Team statements, coaching changes, or equipment issues may also influence trader positioning. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and analyst commentary typically drive higher trading volume and sharper price discovery.
