Markets exist for specific contestants and an 'other' category to cover all possibilities.
This market will resolve to the contestant who comes in second-place on Big Brother season 28. If Big Brother season 28 concludes without a second-place finisher, or if Big Brother season 28 has otherwise not concluded by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET this market will resolve to "Other". The named individuals will be primarily ranked by order of elimination. If two or more individuals are eliminated exactly simultaneously, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the individuals' listed first names. This market will resolve to the individual that occupies the second-highest finishing position after applying this ranking. This market will remain open until the conclusion of the season. The resolution source for this market will be the official broadcast of the final episode of Big Brother season 28.
These markets resolve based on whether any of the listed contestants is officially eliminated from Big Brother Season 28 before August 14, 2026. Elimination is defined as being voted off, evicted, knocked out, removed from further contention, voluntarily withdrawing, being disqualified, or removed by producers. The elimination must be announced through an official program broadcast, the show's website, verified social media, or press releases. Multiple eliminations occurring simultaneously count, and an initial elimination counts even if the contestant later returns. However, eliminations reversed in the same episode, temporary suspensions, medical holds, or finishing as runner-up in the finale do not qualify. If the entire season is canceled without any eliminations being declared, all markets resolve to No.
This market resolves around Oct 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the season finale determines the final rankings through public broadcast and official contest results. The runner-up is verified against credible sources such as the show's official announcements and reputable entertainment news outlets. No internal platform mechanisms decide this — the result follows the on-air conclusion of Big Brother Season 28.
Key events such as jury formations, final eviction rounds, and strategic alliances in the final weeks often drive big shifts in this market. A surprise nomination, a strong performance in the final Head of Household challenge, or a last-minute backdoor eviction can rapidly reshape trader expectations. Additionally, public perception influenced by media coverage or social media trends may impact odds, especially as the finale nears and betting volume spikes.
