Divergence Detected

Issue: Scope divergence: Kalshi covers entire tournament across all match periods; Limitless covers single match, regular time only. Time windows and goal-counting rules differ materially.Hero tip: Treat these as independent markets. Kalshi requires sustained tournament performance; Limitless requires one-match performance in a specific time window. Spain's group-stage draw and Yamal's injury risk are key factors for both, but tournament-wide consistency is only relevant to Kalshi.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Six tiered markets measuring Lamine Yamal's total goals across the entire 2026 World Cup tournament. All match periods count: regulation, stoppage time, and extra time. Resolution: YES if Yamal reaches the specified threshold (2+, 3+, 4+, 5+, 6+, or 7+ goals). Key Quote: 'during the entire tournament (including regulation, stoppage and any extra time periods)'
  • Limitless: Single match market: Yamal scores at least 1 goal vs Austria on July 2, 2026, during regular time only (90 minutes + stoppage time). Extra time and penalty shootout goals do not count. Key Quote: 'during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only)... Goals scored in extra time or penalty shootouts do not count.'

Frequently asked questions

The Lamine Yamal goal-scoring market dashboard aggregates prediction data across Kalshi and Limitless, tracking real-time consensus on his goal output during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Kalshi focuses on cumulative tournament performance, while Limitless emphasizes match-specific outcomes. Together, these platforms show how traders are pricing his offensive contribution relative to tournament expectations. The combined volume of $14,071 reflects active interest in isolating his individual scoring impact across multiple contract types and timeframes.

Prediction markets like those tracked here operate on continuous order-book pricing, where traders themselves set odds by buying and selling shares—no fixed lines. This differs from traditional sportsbooks, which publish static odds and manage risk through margin. Prediction markets often reflect sharper, real-time consensus because traders have direct financial exposure and can adjust positions instantly. Sportsbooks, by contrast, balance liability and may lag behind breaking news. For player prop markets like this one, prediction platforms can offer tighter spreads and faster price discovery once significant new information emerges.

Kalshi and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates under distinct contract rules, liquidity pools, and user bases. Kalshi may emphasize longer-term tournament accumulation, attracting traders focused on full-tournament performance, while Limitless can concentrate liquidity on single-match outcomes, drawing tactical bettors. Funding, promotional incentives, and fee structures also vary, shifting where traders choose to deploy capital. Additionally, one platform may see faster order flow during live events, creating temporary price leads. These structural differences mean identical underlying events can trade at different probabilities across venues, creating arbitrage opportunities for alert traders.

This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, once the tournament event concludes and final statistics are verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by confirmed goal tallies attributed to the player during the specified competition window. Resolution hinges on official tournament records and widely recognized sports data sources, ensuring transparency and preventing disputes. Traders should monitor official announcements and credible sports media as the event approaches to understand any final clarifications on what counts toward the total.

Key catalysts include team lineup announcements, recent form and injury updates, and head-to-head matchup draws that affect playing time and offensive opportunities. Early tournament performance—goals scored in group stages—will shift pricing sharply as traders update expectations for the remainder of the competition. Tactical changes, managerial decisions, and offensive role adjustments can also influence scoring probability. Media narratives around his development and tournament prominence may sway retail trader sentiment. Live match events, substitution patterns, and penalty-taking duties represent real-time signals that can trigger rapid repricing as the tournament unfolds.
