Goals are counted cumulatively across both teams. The event resolves Yes if the combined goal total exceeds the specified threshold for each respective market.

Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is canceled after it starts, this market will resolve based on official data recorded up to that point. If the match is canceled entirely before it starts or postponed/rescheduled to a restart date later than September 15, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO."
Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they operate on distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This often means prediction market prices reflect crowd sentiment more directly, sometimes diverging meaningfully from sportsbook lines. Neither is inherently more accurate, but comparing the two can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree—a valuable signal for informed bettors.
Kalshi currently favors Will over 0.5 goals be scored? at 91.0%, while Limitless leans toward England and Argentina have 3 or more total goals? at 40.2%. Kalshi and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price differences typically stem from distinct user bases, varying liquidity pools, and different market structures. One venue may attract more aggressive traders on a particular outcome, or liquidity constraints can widen spreads. Monitoring both platforms helps you identify arbitrage opportunities and understand which forecast is gaining momentum across the prediction market ecosystem.
This market resolves around Jul 16, 2026, once the England vs Argentina match concludes and the final goal tally is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined solely by goals scored during regulation time—extra time and penalty shootouts do not count. Resolution happens automatically once the result is confirmed, ensuring all traders receive payouts based on the same verified data. Check the platform's event page closer to match day for any final clarifications on timing.
Team news—injuries to key strikers or defenders—can shift goal expectations significantly. Recent form, head-to-head history, and lineup announcements typically trigger repricing as traders update their forecasts. Weather conditions and venue factors may also influence scoring patterns. As match day draws near, late-breaking injury reports or tactical shifts often spark sharp moves. Monitor both platforms for volume spikes, which frequently signal informed traders acting on new information before the broader market catches up.
