Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical time windows (90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties) and consistent postponement/cancellation handling across all outcome types.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Eredivisie statistics and governing body records; secondary source is credible reporting consensus if official data unavailable within 2 hours post-match.
Core resolution logic:
Match outcome determined by goals scored in 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only
Extra time and penalty shootouts are excluded from all resolutions
Breda win resolves Yes if Breda score exceeds Ajax score; No otherwise
Draw resolves Yes if both teams score equal goals; No otherwise
Ajax win resolves Yes if Ajax score exceeds Breda score; No otherwise
Over/under markets resolve Yes if combined goals exceed stated threshold (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, or 4.5); No otherwise
Postponed matches remain open until the match is completed
Canceled matches with no make-up: win/loss markets resolve No; draw market resolves Yes
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on its rescheduled date.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Breda win and Ajax win markets resolve to No; the draw market resolves to Yes.
Official Data Delay: If official Eredivisie statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may proceed using consensus from credible sports reporting sources.
Extra Time or Penalties: Goals scored in extra time or during penalty shootouts are not counted toward any market resolution.
Timing:
Resolution occurs after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time on April 25, 2026, or on the rescheduled date if postponed. Official data publication or credible consensus must be established within 2 hours of match conclusion.
