Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with identical coverage of all three possible outcomes (Bielefeld win, Nürnberg win, draw) and consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Bundesliga 2 statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final score after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
Polymarket Draw market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw, NO otherwise; if canceled with no make-up game, resolves YES.
Polymarket Bielefeld Win market resolves YES if Bielefeld wins, NO otherwise; if canceled with no make-up game, resolves NO.
Polymarket Nürnberg Win market resolves YES if Nürnberg wins, NO otherwise; if canceled with no make-up game, resolves NO.
Kalshi markets resolve YES for each outcome that occurs: one market for Bielefeld win, one for Nürnberg win, one for draw.
Exactly one outcome will occur, and exactly one market per platform will resolve YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the game is completed and the final result is determined.
Match Cancellation Without Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Polymarket Draw market resolves YES and both Polymarket Win markets resolve NO. Kalshi resolution logic does not explicitly address this scenario.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary source is official Bundesliga 2 statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used as fallback.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by Bundesliga 2 or governing body, or within 2 hours post-match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
