Description

This event group contains 17 binary markets across two platforms (Polymarket and Predict) asking whether Apple (AAPL) stock will reach specific price levels during May 2026. Each market targets either a HIGH (at or above) or LOW (at or below) price point, resolved using 1-minute candle data from Pyth during regular trading hours (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET).

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms use identical resolution criteria: YES if target price is reached during any 1-minute candle in May 2026 (regular trading hours only), sourced from Pyth with exchange fallback.

Primary resolution logic:

Pyth (1-minute candles for AAPL/USD); fallback to official primary exchange daily high/low prices if Pyth data is unavailable due to outage or technical failure.

Core resolution logic:

  • HIGH markets resolve YES if any 1-minute candle's High price equals or exceeds the target price during May 2026.
  • LOW markets resolve YES if any 1-minute candle's Low price equals or falls below the target price during May 2026.
  • Only prices during regular trading hours (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET) on the primary exchange qualify; pre-market and after-hours prices are excluded.
  • Prices are used exactly as published by Pyth without rounding.
  • In the event of a stock split or reverse split, target prices are adjusted proportionally and resolution uses split-adjusted historical data from Pyth.
  • If Pyth data is unavailable, resolution falls back to official daily high/low prices published by the primary exchange for the applicable trading session.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Stock Split or Corporate Action: Target prices are adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits or reverse splits. Resolution is based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth after adjustments have been applied.
  • Pyth Data Unavailability: If Pyth 1-minute candle data is unavailable due to system outage, data failure, or technical disruption, the official daily high or low price published by the primary exchange is used to determine whether the target price was reached during the applicable trading session.
  • Exact Price Match: For HIGH markets, the target price must be reached or exceeded; for LOW markets, the target price must be reached or undercut. Exact matches resolve YES.
  • Multiple Candles in May: Resolution checks any 1-minute candle throughout May 2026 during regular hours. If the target price is touched in any single candle, the market resolves YES.

Timing:

Resolution occurs after the close of regular trading on May 31, 2026 (or the last trading day of May 2026 if May 31 is not a trading day). Historical 1-minute candle data is accessed via Pyth using Unix timestamps within the May 2026 trading window.
