Description
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Decriminalize Adult Commercial Sexual Activity bill (SB26-097) (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb26-097) is passed by both chambers of the Colorado General Assembly and becomes law by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source is official information from the government of Colorado; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Source data mismatch: Polymarket contains a specific Colorado sex work decriminalization question (SB26-097), while Kalshi data provided lists seven unrelated state legislative questions with no mention of Colorado or sex work. This indicates either incorrect data mapping, a data integrity failure, or that Kalshi does not host a corresponding market on this topic.
Hero Tip:
Do not assume these platforms are pricing the same event. Verify directly with Kalshi that a market on Colorado SB26-097 exists and retrieve its actual resolution criteria. If Kalshi has no such market, this is not a unified event group and arbitrage/consensus analysis is invalid.
Critical Divergence Points:
Polymarket: Specific question: Colorado bill SB26-097 (Decriminalize Adult Commercial Sexual Activity) becomes law by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Resolution source: official Colorado government or credible reporting consensus. Binary YES/NO outcome tied to passage and enactment of one specific bill.
Kalshi: Data provided contains seven unrelated state legislative questions (PA minimum wage, IL AI, GA cannabis, MA energy, CA AI systems, NY health data, OH drag) with January 1, 2027 deadlines. No question on Colorado sex work decriminalization is present in the source data.
