Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with identical treatment of postponements and cancellations across all three possible outcomes (Wrexham win, Stoke win, draw).
Primary resolution logic:
Official EFL Championship statistics and governing body records, with fallback to credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if Wrexham AFC wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if Stoke City FC wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one of the three outcomes will resolve YES; the other two resolve NO.
Extra time and penalties are excluded from resolution scope.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and the win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution occurs based on the final outcome of the completed match.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES while both win markets resolve NO.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary resolution uses official EFL Championship statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting sources may be used instead.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by the EFL Championship governing body or event organizers, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
