Description
This event group covers a best-of-three Valorant match between ULF Esports and UCAM Esports Club in the VCT EMEA Clash Group Alpha, scheduled for February 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET. Markets span match winner, individual map winners, total maps played, and map handicaps across Polymarket and Kalshi platforms.
Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both platforms use identical resolution hierarchy: official vlr.gg results within 2 hours, fallback to credible reporting with video evidence, and consistent 50-50 outcomes for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, pre-match forfeits, and incomplete matches.
Primary resolution logic:
Official vlr.gg data; credible reporting consensus with video evidence if vlr.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion
Core resolution logic:
Match Winner: resolves to the team that wins the best-of-three series; if match is canceled, not played, delayed beyond 7 days without completion, or ends in pre-match forfeit/disqualification, resolves 50-50
Map Winners (Map 1, Map 2): resolve to the team winning that specific map if completed; resolve 50-50 if that map is not completed for any reason or if the entire match is canceled/delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning
Games Total (O/U 2.5): resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played (including forfeited clinching maps in completed matches), Under if fewer than 3 maps are played; resolves 50-50 if match is canceled, not played, delayed beyond 7 days without completion, or incomplete with in-match forfeit
Map Handicap (ULF -1.5 / UCAM -1.5): resolves to the team that wins 2 or more maps than their opponent in a completed match; resolves 50-50 if match is canceled, not played, delayed beyond 7 days without completion, or incomplete with in-match forfeit; forfeited clinching maps count toward handicap in completed matches
Edge cases & Clarifications:
In-Match Forfeit or Walkover: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over during the match after it has begun, the winning team's result counts toward match winner and map handicap resolution. However, if the match begins but is not completed and one team wins via forfeit, the Games Total market resolves 50-50.
Pre-Match Forfeit or Disqualification: If a team withdraws before the match starts or is disqualified before play begins, the match resolves 50-50 across all markets, even though the other team wins automatically.
Incomplete Map: If Map 1 or Map 2 begins but is not completed for any reason, that map-specific market resolves 50-50. The match winner market only resolves 50-50 if the entire series is incomplete.
Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (February 24, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
Clinching Map Forfeit: If the match is completed and the clinching map (that determines the series winner) is forfeited, the match counts as completed; Games Total and Map Handicap markets count the forfeited map toward their totals.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon match completion or official vlr.gg publication of results, whichever is earlier. If vlr.gg does not publish within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used. Cancellations or delays beyond 7 days from February 24, 2026 trigger 50-50 resolution.
