Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 11, 2026, with the same primary source (official governing body statistics) and identical scope.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Lega Serie B (legaserieb.it) or governing body; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final score after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
Polymarket offers three binary markets: Avellino win (YES/NO), Catanzaro win (YES/NO), and Draw (YES/NO). Exactly one will resolve YES.
Kalshi offers three outcome markets: Avellino wins, Catanzaro wins, or Tie occurs. Exactly one will resolve YES.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Polymarket Draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO; Kalshi Tie market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the April 11, 2026 match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution occurs on the actual match date, not the original scheduled date.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Polymarket resolves the Draw market to YES and both win markets to NO. Kalshi resolves the Tie market to YES. This asymmetry in cancellation treatment is intentional per each platform's rules.
Resolution Source Fallback: Both platforms prioritize official Lega Serie B statistics. If the governing body does not publish final statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, both platforms fall back to credible reporting consensus.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by Lega Serie B or governing body, or within 2 hours post-match via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
