Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the governing body or event organizers (Lega Serie B), with fallback to credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Polymarket Venezia Win market resolves YES if Venezia FC wins, NO otherwise.
Polymarket Bari Win market resolves YES if SSC Bari wins, NO otherwise.
Polymarket Draw market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw, NO otherwise.
Kalshi market resolves YES if any of the three outcomes (Bari win, Venezia win, or draw) occurs.
All markets measure only the result within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until completion.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket Venezia and Bari win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES; Kalshi market resolves YES (as cancellation is a defined outcome).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets on both platforms remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on a rescheduled date.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Polymarket win markets (Bari and Venezia) resolve NO, the Polymarket draw market resolves YES, and the Kalshi market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official Lega Serie B statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus is used as fallback.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by the governing body or event organizers, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
