Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations across Polymarket and Kalshi.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the governing body (Lega Serie B / legaserieb.it) or consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final score after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties.
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Spezia Calcio wins, FC Südtirol wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Exactly one of the three Polymarket markets (Spezia win, Südtirol win, or draw) will resolve YES; the other two resolve NO.
The Kalshi market resolves YES if any of the three outcomes occurs (it is a catch-all confirmation market).
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO; Kalshi market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution occurs only after the postponed match concludes.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the Polymarket draw market resolves YES (treating cancellation as a draw outcome), while both Polymarket win markets resolve NO. The Kalshi market resolves YES as a catch-all.
Source Fallback: If official Lega Serie B statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting from established sports news sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by the governing body (Lega Serie B) or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus.
