Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Kalshi and Polymarket resolve based on the outcome of the Shimizu S-Pulse vs. Nagoya Grampus match on April 25, 2026, within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, with identical scope and timing requirements.
Primary resolution logic:
Official J-League statistics as recognized by the governing body (jleague.jp); if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (regular play only; extra time and penalties are excluded).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Shimizu win (YES on Shimizu market, NO on Nagoya and draw markets), Nagoya win (YES on Nagoya market, NO on Shimizu and draw markets), or draw (YES on draw market, NO on Shimizu and Nagoya markets).
Exactly one outcome market will resolve YES; the other two will resolve NO.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Shimizu and Nagoya win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is played and completed.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Shimizu win and Nagoya win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary source is official J-League statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus becomes the resolution source.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by J-League or governing body, or within 2 hours post-match via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable.
