Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 21, 2026, using the same primary source (EFL/governing body official statistics) and applying identical cancellation/postponement rules.
Primary resolution logic:
Official EFL (English Football League) statistics and the governing body or event organizers' final match records
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if Sheffield United FC wins (Sheffield United win market only) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if Wrexham AFC wins (Wrexham win market only) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw (draw market only) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves NO for all other outcomes within the scope of each individual market.
Exactly ONE of the three outcome markets (Sheffield United win, Wrexham win, or draw) will resolve YES.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on its rescheduled date.
Cancellation Without Make-Up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary resolution uses official EFL statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Scope: Regular Time Only: All markets resolve based on the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only; extra time and penalties are excluded.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official EFL announcement of the final match result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 21, 2026, or upon the rescheduled completion date if postponed.
