Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 19, 2026, with identical treatment of postponements and cancellations across all three possible outcomes (Sarpsborg win, Tromsø win, draw).
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the governing body or event organizers (Eliteserien.no), with fallback to consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final score after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalties.
Sarpsborg win market resolves YES if Sarpsborg scores more goals than Tromsø; otherwise NO.
Tromsø win market resolves YES if Tromsø scores more goals than Sarpsborg; otherwise NO.
Draw market resolves YES if both teams score an equal number of goals; otherwise NO.
Exactly one of the three outcome markets will resolve YES.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Sarpsborg and Tromsø win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the rescheduled match outcome.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the Sarpsborg win and Tromsø win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Timing: Official Eliteserien statistics are the primary source. If not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used instead.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by the governing body or event organizers, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are unavailable.
