Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All markets across Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic based on the official final score from UEFA.com after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with consistent handling of postponements, cancellations, and incomplete matches.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from UEFA.com; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, consensus of credible reporting may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Over/Under markets (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5) resolve based on combined goals scored by both teams meeting or exceeding the specified threshold.
Both Teams to Score resolves YES if each team scores at least one goal, NO if either team scores zero.
Spread markets resolve based on the goal differential: Real Betis (-1.5) wins if Betis wins by 2+ goals; Real Betis (-2.5) wins if Betis wins by 3+ goals; SC Braga (-1.5) wins if Braga wins by 2+ goals; SC Braga (-2.5) wins if Braga wins by 3+ goals.
All markets consider only the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties.
If the game is postponed, markets remain open until completion. If canceled entirely with no make-up game, markets resolve 50-50. If started but not completed, resolution uses the official final score published on UEFA.com.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement and Rescheduling: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the game is completed. Resolution occurs based on the final score of the rescheduled match.
Complete Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, all markets resolve 50-50 (split equally between Yes and No outcomes).
Incomplete Match: If the match is started but not completed (e.g., abandoned), resolution uses the official final score published on UEFA.com, not the score at the time of abandonment.
Resolution Source Fallback: If UEFA.com does not publish final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting sources may be used as the resolution basis.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon publication of the official final score on UEFA.com following the completion of 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or within 2 hours thereafter if using consensus reporting.
