Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All markets across Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic based on the official final score from a-league.com.au within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, with consistent handling of postponements (remain open until completion) and cancellations (resolve 50-50).
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics published on a-league.com.au; if not published within 2 hours after event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting may be used.
Core resolution logic:
All markets resolve based on the final score within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
Over/Under markets (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5) resolve YES if combined goals meet or exceed the threshold, NO if below.
Spread markets resolve based on goal differential: Macarthur (-1.5) YES if Macarthur wins by 2+, Macarthur (-2.5) YES if Macarthur wins by 3+, Wellington (-1.5) YES if Wellington wins by 2+, Wellington (-2.5) YES if Wellington wins by 3+.
Both Teams to Score resolves YES if each team scores at least one goal, NO if either team scores zero.
If game is postponed, markets remain open until completion. If game is canceled with no make-up, all markets resolve 50-50.
If game is started but not completed, resolution uses the official final score published on a-league.com.au.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Incomplete Match Resolution: If the match is started but not completed, resolution is based on the official final score published on a-league.com.au, not on the score at the point of abandonment.
Postponement vs Cancellation: Postponed matches remain open until the rescheduled game is completed. Entirely canceled matches with no make-up game resolve 50-50 across all markets.
Secondary Resolution Source: If a-league.com.au does not publish final statistics within 2 hours of event conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting sources may be used instead.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon publication of the official final score on a-league.com.au within 2 hours after the match conclusion, or upon consensus reporting if official statistics are delayed.
