Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations across Polymarket and Kalshi.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Ligue 1 statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
The match outcome is determined solely by the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties.
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: Lille OSC wins, OGC Nice wins, or the match ends in a draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and both team-win markets resolve NO.
Polymarket markets resolve YES or NO based on their specific outcome; Kalshi markets resolve YES if any of the three outcomes occurs (draw, Lille win, or Nice win).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled with no make-up game scheduled, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES, while both Lille-win and Nice-win markets resolve NO. Kalshi's outcome market resolves YES regardless of which outcome would have occurred, as it covers all three possibilities.
Postponement and Rescheduling: If the match is postponed from April 18, 2026, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution then follows the actual outcome of the completed match.
Source Delay: If official Ligue 1 statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, resolution may be based on consensus of credible reporting sources rather than official statistics.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by Ligue 1 or event organizers, or within 2 hours post-match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official sources are delayed.
