Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both platforms apply identical resolution logic: match outcome determined by official score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) official statistics (https://tff.org/); credible reporting consensus if TFF does not publish final statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Match outcome is determined by the final score after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only; extra time and penalties are excluded.
Three mutually exclusive outcomes: Gençlerbirliği SK win, Kocaelispor win, or draw.
If match is postponed, all markets remain open until the rescheduled match is completed.
If match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, Polymarket's draw market resolves Yes and win markets resolve No; Kalshi markets resolve based on the actual rescheduled result or No if permanently canceled.
Resolution uses official TFF statistics as primary source; if unavailable within 2 hours of match end, consensus of credible reporting is used.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: Markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. No early resolution occurs.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: Polymarket: draw market resolves Yes, win markets resolve No. Kalshi: all markets resolve No (no winner determined).
Delayed Official Statistics: If TFF does not publish official statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution uses consensus from credible sports reporting sources.
Scope of Regular Time: Resolution covers only the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shootouts are excluded from consideration.
Timing:
Resolution occurs after the match concludes and official statistics are published by TFF (or within 2 hours thereafter if credible reporting consensus is required). Markets remain open if the match is postponed.
