This market will resolve according to the team that wins Group C in the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, scheduled for June 11-27, 2026.
If multiple teams tie as group winners, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
If the World Cup group stage is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, or there is otherwise no winner declared for this group within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All four platforms (Kalshi, Predict, Polymarket, Limitless) apply identical resolution logic: the team that finishes first in Group C per official FIFA standings wins; ties are broken by FIFA's official procedure; cancellation or postponement beyond September 30, 2026 resolves to Other.
Primary resolution logic:
Official FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/); credible reporting consensus as secondary source
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES for the team that finishes first (highest points) in Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage
Group stage matches are scheduled for June 11-27, 2026
If two or more teams tie on points, the official FIFA tiebreak procedure (goal differential, goals scored, head-to-head record, etc.) determines the group winner
Resolution is based on final official FIFA standings and records
If the group stage is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, or no winner is declared within the timeframe, market resolves to Other
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Tied Group Winner: If multiple teams finish with equal points, the official 2026 FIFA World Cup tiebreak procedure applies (goal differential, goals scored, head-to-head results, etc.). The team ranked first by this procedure is the group winner.
Group Stage Cancellation: If the World Cup group stage is cancelled or postponed after September 30, 2026, or no winner is declared by that date, the market resolves to Other.
Resolution Source Conflict: Primary source is official FIFA.com records. If official FIFA records are unavailable or ambiguous, credible reporting consensus from major sports media may be used as secondary source.
Timing:
Resolution occurs after the final Group C match is completed and official FIFA standings are published, no later than September 30, 2026. If no winner is declared by September 30, 2026, market resolves to Other.
