Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (Barcelona win, Vallecano win, or draw) within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 22, 2026, using official La Liga statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official La Liga statistics and the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the outcome of the match within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Barcelona win (YES on Polymarket Barcelona market and Kalshi Barcelona market), Vallecano win (YES on Polymarket Vallecano market and Kalshi Vallecano market), or draw (YES on Polymarket draw market and Kalshi tie market).
Exactly one outcome will resolve to YES across the outcome-specific markets; the others resolve to NO.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket draw market resolves YES and win markets resolve NO; Kalshi markets follow the same cancellation logic (no make-up = no winner).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on its rescheduled date.
Match Cancellation Without Make-Up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO. Kalshi's markets follow equivalent logic: no winner is declared, and the tie/draw outcome prevails.
Delayed Official Statistics: If official La Liga statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may use consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon completion of 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 22, 2026, with official statistics published by La Liga or event organizers within 2 hours of match end.
