Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both platforms use identical match scope (90 minutes plus stoppage time), identical official resolution source (Liga MX/governing body), and consistent cancellation/postponement logic. No material divergence in settlement criteria.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Liga MX statistics and match records; secondary source is consensus of credible reporting if official statistics unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Match outcome determined by goals scored in 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only; extra time and penalties excluded
Polymarket outcome markets (Guadalajara win, draw, Tijuana win) resolve based on final match result
Kalshi over/under goal markets resolve based on combined total goals scored by both teams
If match is postponed, all markets remain open until the rescheduled match is completed
If match is canceled with no make-up game: Polymarket outcome markets resolve No (Guadalajara win and Tijuana win resolve No; draw resolves Yes); Kalshi goal markets resolve No (threshold not met with zero goals)
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is played on its rescheduled date.
Cancellation without make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Polymarket outcome markets resolve No except the draw market which resolves Yes; Kalshi goal markets resolve No (zero goals scored means all over thresholds fail).
Official statistics delay: If Liga MX does not publish final match statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting sources.
Scope clarity: All markets explicitly exclude extra time and penalty shootouts; resolution is based solely on 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Timing:
Resolution occurs after the match concludes (90 minutes plus stoppage time). Official statistics are the primary source if available within 2 hours; otherwise credible reporting consensus is used. Markets settle within 24 hours of match completion under normal circumstances.
