Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 23, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official La Liga 2 statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
The match outcome is determined by the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: CD Castellón win, Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa win, or draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO; Kalshi's single market resolves YES (covering all three outcomes as valid resolutions).
Resolution uses official governing body statistics as primary source; credible reporting consensus applies only if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket resolves the draw market to YES and both win markets to NO. Kalshi's market structure treats cancellation as a valid outcome and resolves YES.
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets on both platforms remain open and unresolved until the match is actually played and completed.
Delayed Official Statistics: If official governing body statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, both platforms permit resolution based on consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by La Liga 2 or the governing body, or within 2 hours post-match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable.
