Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All three platforms (Polymarket draw, Polymarket Boston win, Polymarket North Carolina win, and Kalshi combined outcome market) apply identical resolution logic: official NWSL statistics within 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official NWSL statistics (nwslsoccer.com) as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; credible reporting consensus if official statistics unavailable within 2 hours post-match.
Core resolution logic:
Match result determined by goals scored within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only
Draw market (Polymarket) resolves Yes if match ends level, No if either team wins
Boston Legacy FC win market resolves Yes only if Boston scores more goals than North Carolina
North Carolina Courage win market resolves Yes only if North Carolina scores more goals than Boston
If match is postponed, all markets remain open until the rescheduled match is completed
If match is canceled with no make-up game, draw market resolves Yes and both win markets resolve No
Extra time and penalty shootouts are explicitly excluded from resolution scope
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed and a final result is available.
Cancellation without make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the draw market resolves to Yes and both win markets resolve to No.
Official statistics delay: If NWSL does not publish official final statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may proceed using consensus of credible reporting sources.
Extra time or penalties: Resolution is based solely on the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shootouts do not affect market resolution.
Timing:
Resolution occurs after the match concludes and official NWSL statistics are published or credible reporting consensus is established, with a maximum 2-hour window post-match for official publication before alternative sources may be used.
