Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Kalshi and Polymarket both resolve based on the official outcome of the Auckland FC vs. Melbourne Victory FC match on April 11, 2026, within 90 minutes plus stoppage time, using the same primary source (official A-League statistics or credible reporting consensus).
Primary resolution logic:
Official A-League statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the match outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (excluding extra time or penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Auckland FC wins, Melbourne Victory FC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Kalshi's three binary markets (Auckland wins, Tie, Melbourne wins) each resolve YES for their respective outcome; Polymarket's three binary markets (Auckland wins, Draw, Melbourne wins) each resolve YES for their respective outcome.
Exactly one outcome will occur; all other markets in the group resolve NO.
If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until completion.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Kalshi markets resolve YES (all outcomes covered), and Polymarket's Melbourne/Auckland markets resolve NO while the Draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, both Kalshi and Polymarket keep all markets open until the match is completed on a future date.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Kalshi's structure (covering all three outcomes) resolves all markets YES, while Polymarket's Melbourne and Auckland markets resolve NO and the Draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Timing: Both platforms use official A-League statistics as primary source; if not published within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus is used as fallback.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by A-League governing body or event organizers, or within 2 hours post-match via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable.
