Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (Roma win, Pisa win, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 10, 2026, using the same primary source (official governing body statistics or credible reporting consensus).
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Lega Serie A (Italian professional soccer governing body) or consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
The match outcome is determined by the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (extra time and penalties are excluded).
Polymarket resolves three separate binary markets: Roma Win (YES if Roma wins), Pisa Win (YES if Pisa wins), and Draw (YES if match ends in a draw).
Kalshi resolves three separate binary markets with identical outcomes: Roma Win, Pisa Win, and Tie (draw).
Exactly one of the three outcome markets will resolve YES; the other two resolve NO.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket's Draw market resolves YES and the Roma/Pisa win markets resolve NO; Kalshi's markets resolve based on the same cancellation outcome (all three resolve NO per standard cancellation logic for win markets).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match scheduled for April 10, 2026 is postponed, both platforms keep all markets open until the rescheduled match is completed and the official result is published.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game, Polymarket's Draw market resolves YES (per explicit rule), while Roma Win and Pisa Win markets resolve NO. Kalshi's markets all resolve NO for cancellation (standard sports cancellation protocol).
Resolution Source Timing: Both platforms use official Lega Serie A statistics as primary source. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, both platforms fall back to consensus of credible reporting.
Timing:
Resolution occurs immediately upon official publication of the final match result by Lega Serie A or upon consensus credible reporting if official statistics are delayed beyond 2 hours post-match.
