Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic based on the final score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with slstat.com as the primary source and consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official final score published on slstat.com; if unavailable within 2 hours after event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Spread markets (-1.5 and -2.5) resolve YES if the named team wins by the specified margin or greater; otherwise resolve to the opposing team.
Over/Under markets resolve YES if combined goals meet or exceed the threshold (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5); otherwise resolve NO.
Both Teams to Score resolves YES if each team scores at least one goal; resolves NO if either team scores zero.
Resolution is based exclusively on goals scored within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time; extra time and penalties are excluded.
If the game is postponed, markets remain open until completion. If canceled entirely with no make-up game, all markets resolve 50-50.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the game is completed and the official final score is published.
Cancellation with No Make-Up: If the match is canceled entirely with no scheduled make-up game, all markets in the group resolve 50-50.
Incomplete Match: If the game is started but not completed, resolution occurs according to the official final score published on slstat.com for the portion played.
Delayed Official Statistics: If the governing body or event organizers do not publish final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used as the resolution source.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon publication of the official final score on slstat.com after the match concludes (90 minutes plus stoppage time), or upon consensus reporting if official statistics are delayed beyond 2 hours post-match.
