This market will resolve according to the team that wins Group H in the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, scheduled for June 11-27, 2026.
If multiple teams tie as group winners, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
If the World Cup group stage is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, or there is otherwise no winner declared for this group within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms (Kalshi, Predict, Polymarket, Limitless) apply identical resolution logic: the team that finishes first in Group H per official FIFA standings wins; tiebreaks follow FIFA rules; cancellation or non-resolution by September 30, 2026 results in Other/No outcome.
Primary resolution logic:
Official FIFA (fifa.com); credible reporting consensus as secondary source
Core resolution logic:
Resolution occurs when Group H final standings are officially published by FIFA following the group stage matches (June 11-27, 2026)
The team with the highest points total in Group H is declared the winner
If two or more teams are tied on points, official FIFA tiebreak procedure applies (goal differential, goals scored, head-to-head record, etc.)
Only one team can resolve as the winner; markets are mutually exclusive across the four eligible teams (Uruguay, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde)
If Group H stage is cancelled, postponed beyond September 30, 2026, or no official winner is declared by that date, all team-specific markets resolve to No/Other
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Tied Group Winner: If multiple teams finish with identical records, the official 2026 FIFA World Cup tiebreak procedure determines the winner. This is a single outcome; all platforms resolve consistently to the one team designated winner by FIFA.
Group Stage Cancellation or Delay: If the group stage is cancelled entirely or postponed beyond September 30, 2026, all markets in this group resolve to Other or No, depending on platform binary structure.
Incomplete Group Stage: If Group H matches are not completed by September 30, 2026 (e.g., due to force majeure), no winner is declared and markets resolve to Other/No.
Timing:
Resolution occurs immediately after the final Group H match is played and official FIFA standings are published, expected by June 27, 2026. If no resolution by September 30, 2026, markets resolve to Other/No.
